Mrs Ward from Gryffe High School has been teaching us all about how to carry out a successful scientific investigation about forces. We wanted to investigate the effect that increasing the mass, on top of the wooden car, would have on the distance it travelled. We created a hypothesis and made predictions before accurately setting up our materials. It was important for us to stay safe by wearing our safety glasses at all time! After repeating our experiment, we recorded our results, found the average score and created a graph to display the results.
