In our Literacy lessons, we have been learning about the features and structure of a newspaper report. We worked in groups to look at an example, highlight the features that we thought were most important and then matched up the features to their definition. We solidified our learning by playing our version own of ‘Who am I?’.
We have been learning some Scottish Ceilidh dances during our PE lessons. We worked hard to learn the steps of the Dashing White Sergeant and the Canadian Barn Dance. To challenge ourselves, we then added in progression where our partners would change each time. Next week, we will listen to a piece of Scottish music and use what we have learned, to create a modern Ceilidh dance in small groups.
